A mature 2-acre estate lake in the village of Northaw, Hertfordshire, run as an exclusive 25-man carp syndicate. The water holds 55 carp to the mid-30s in an intimate and peaceful setting just outside Potters Bar on the London fringe. Membership is strictly limited and highly sought after among Hertfordshire specimen anglers.
Members-only syndicate (maximum 30 members). Season runs 1st May to 30th April. Two-rod limit 1 April–30 September; three-rod limit 1 October–31 March. All anglers must carry and use a good quality unhooking mat or cradle. Carp can be retained in floating retainer slings for a maximum of 2 hours. No introduction of live fish or spawn from any other water. Any angler fishing for three consecutive days must vacate the fishery for a minimum of 24 hours. No swimming or wading. NFM reserves the right to suspend or terminate permission to fish if rules are violated.
