A 130-acre rural estate on the outskirts of Maldon in Essex, offering 30 acres of fly fishing waters and 30 acres of coarse and carp lakes alongside holiday accommodation and a café. Situated just metres from the River Blackwater Estuary, the venue is approximately one hour from London and combines quality fishing with a genuine countryside escape.
All fishing must be pre-booked online. Bailiffs check bookings on-site. Coarse/carp lakes open all year except Christmas Day. Trout fly fishing season: 1 November to end of June for Home Water (closed July–October). Rook Hall open year-round. Both fly fishing lakes stocked monthly. No dinghies, kayaks or other vessels permitted unless authorised by staff. No particle baits on coarse lakes. No fires. No excess noise. Catfish anglers must use single hooks only; adequate handling equipment required for fish up to 150lb.
